AI answers are not fixed search rankings. They change by date, model, prompt, region, and source availability. So we publish dated visibility snapshots, not permanent rankings.
What we measure
- Whether a brand is mentioned at all
- How often it appears across the tested prompts
- Which competitors appear in the same answer set
- Which sources or web layers seem to support the answer, when visible
What we do not claim
- This is not a quality ranking
- This is not an endorsement
- This is not a permanent search position
- This is not a guarantee of traffic or sales
- This is not paid placement
How a snapshot works
- Choose a category
- Build a set of buying-intent prompts
- Run the prompts across the selected AI engines
- Record which brands are mentioned
- Group brands by mention frequency
- Date the result and disclose the engines and prompts used
Why snapshots change
The same question can return different brands over time. AI answers can change when:
- models are updated
- the web sources behind the answer change
- prompts are phrased differently
- location, language, or context changes
- new articles, reviews, or lists are published
Why this matters for brands
If AI assistants mention your competitors but not you, customers may never discover your brand. A snapshot helps you see where those visibility gaps are — and what to improve.
